Hey, Aunty! Fancy seeing you here ;)

A little bit about me (in third-person to keep it interesting):

Shruthi Nattanmai is a first-generation Indian American girly pop from Upstate NY who traded dosas for Doritos to fit in. But when she attended fashion school in New York City, she learned how devastating conformity could be, especially when it came to a horrendous trend. Now, Shruthi writes comedies about the cost of assimilation and the people willing to pay it. She holds an MFA in Writing for Screen and Television from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology. In her spare time, she enjoys reading YA novels, playing dress-up, and complaining about the weather.

Shruthi is represented by Maddy Weese at Bellevue Productions.
